Why Should I See A Chiropractor?
I often get asked this question and love to respond with another question, “When was the last time your had someone check your spine?” I mostly get an inquisitive look because the answer is usually a confused, “never.”
Chiropractic is natural, holistic health care based on four scientific facts:
- The body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism.
- The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) controls and coordinates all other systems of the body and is protected by the skull and vertebral segments of the spine.
- Any interference to the nervous system decreases the body’s ability to heal and self-regulate.
- The largest source of balance and coordination input to the brain comes from the spinal joints. When spinal joints do not move through their full range of motion, neurological input from the spine to the brain is altered, creating body-wide stress.
Doesn’t it make sense that if your nervous system controls EVERYTHING and you have a health problem you should first check to see that your nervous system is working at 100% ability? It makes sense to us too and that is our focus, to help you live a longer, better life – naturally.
So, why should I see a Chiropractor? I should see a Chiropractor because they help my body work the way it was designed to by making sure there is no interference in the delicate nervous system. It really is as simple as that!
